This image by Visual Story Teller Nyle Miigizi Johnston is part of a collection of artwork that was created in partnership with TakingITGlobal and the Connected North program to support the development of educational resources for Indigenous languages and land stewardship.
Currently living in Toronto. Nyle was born and raised on his beautiful reserve, Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation. As an Oshkaabewis (Traditional Helper) who previously worked with Anishnawbe Health Toronto, Nyle has been able to incorporate teachings based on traditional knowledge onto each project and artistic endeavour he undertakes.
